Henry County ‘Deputies For The Hungry’ program returns
FROM THE HENRY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ON 11/4/25:
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will begin accepting deer for our “Deputies for the Hungry “ program on November 8th, 2025.
The program will continue through January 1st, 2026.
Deer may be dropped off at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office between the hours of 7am and 7pm daily.
Hunters will need to have the deer checked in prior to arrival and have the confirmation number ready for deer shed personnel.
All deer must be field dressed prior to drop off.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will have a give away at the conclusion of the season.
The Sheriff’s Office will make the public aware of when the give away will be.
Due to limited storage capacity the Henry County Sheriff’s Office may have to suspend the program.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will make a public notification should that occur.
For each deer donated the hunter will receive a ticket for a drawing to be held at Hulmes Sporting Goods after season is over.
