City of Jackson prepares to host ‘Good Tidings Market’
JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson is gearing up to bring a festive feeling to the Hub City.

The market provides an opportunity for local nonprofit organizations to raise funds in support of their missions by selling or offering items in exchange for suggested donations.
The event also gives community members a chance to discover unique gifts, decorations, keepsakes, and artwork for the holiday season all while supporting worthwhile causes.
The Good Tidings Market will be held on December 6 beginning at 12pm at the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market pavilion, located at 91 New Market Street, in downtown Jackson.

Registration is free and open to nonprofit organizations and community groups.
“It’s a great opportunity for our local nonprofits to be out here not only to raise funds but awareness for their different organizations and programs that we have here in Jackson. It’s going to coincide with the same day and time as Christmas at the walk. And then at the local they’ll have some things and attractions out there as well. So I think it’s just going to be a great, wonderful, ‘Christmassy,’ festive afternoon and I’m excited about it,” said Christiana Gallagher, community relations director for the City of Jackson.
Stall and setup for participating organizations will begin at 11am.
