EXIT Realty Blues City creates program to help feed families for Thanksgiving

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — A local real estate agency is coming together to help those in need.

EXIT Realty Blues City in Savannah has started a food program for Thanksgiving because of the uncertainty surrounding SNAP benefits.

They are working to gather nominations for families in need so they can provide meals for them this Thanksgiving.

“We will put them in a drawing which will take place on November 17, and so local businesses can sponsor the families and we take the money and we purchase gift cards from local grocery stores,” said Jessica Asberry, real estate agent.

They have already received 24 names and plan to do as many as they receive if they can get enough donations.
