Student athletes compete at Basketball Frenzy

JACKSON, Tenn.—Athletes from schools across Madison County highlight their skills at one local event.

The Jackson-Madison County Schools’ Basketball Frenzy took place Saturday at Liberty Technology High School.

The event took place from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Schools from all across the county participated including JCM, Northside and Southside, Madison, as well as Liberty Tech.

The boys and girls varsity teams competed in scrimmage games, giving those who attended a preview of this season’s talented players.

There were also player introductions, and even a 3-point competition held.

“We just appreciate the families coming out, we appreciate the sport. We just hope all the families come out and support the teams as the season gets going. And hey, go Jackson-Madison County Schools,” said Jason Bridgeman, Chief Operations Officer at JMCSS.

Basketball Frenzy was a great way to kick off the season and for fans all across the county to see just what’s in store for this season.
