Officer-Involved shooting under investigation in Crockett Co.

According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department Saturday night (11/8) a call to 911 led officers to a residence that resulted in an officer-involved shooting. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department released the following statement.
Crockett County Officer-Involved Shooting Under Investigation
GADSDEN, TN [November 8, 2025] – Tonight, the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office and Gadsden Police Department responded to a 911 call of a domestic in progress that resulted in at least one officer discharging their weapon, striking the suspect and injuring him.
Crockett County Ambulance Service arrived promptly, provided care, and flew the suspect by helicopter to a level one trauma center for medical treatment. The condition of the suspect is unknown at this time. No officers sustained injuries during this incident.
28th District Attorney General Frederick Agee has been notified, and in accordance with standard procedure, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called in to conduct an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The TBI will be the lead investigative agency.
