Tennessee Vols visit Selmer for annual football, cheer closing ceremony
SELMER, Tenn. — Earlier Monday evening, former Tennessee Vols football players Jabari Davis and Latrell Bumphus visited Selmer to speak at this year’s football and cheer closing ceremony.

The two players shared some words of encouragement for athletes, coaches and families.
“I thank is a really important to tell them how important stuff is and how blessed they are to have stuff like this and take advantage of it while it’s here. Because a lot of places ain’t blessed enough to have stuff like this. You need to use your resources while you can,” said Bumphus.

“You know that’s the great thing about today is that we these type of programs and these type of banquettes where we can educate kids and their families on the tools of what it takes to be successful and give them our story of the things we had to go through in life so we can reach our goals,” said Davis.

The event was hosted by FSL Elite Training Facility Inc.
