Martin Mayor, city employees booked into jail
UPDATE 11/12/25: Martin Mayor among 3 indicted after investigation uncovers misuse of more than $450,000
MARTIN, Tenn. — Three City of Martin employees, including Mayor Randal Brundige, have been arrested.

According to booking information available online, Mayor Brundige was booked into the Weakley County jail around 12:11 p.m. on Tuesday. Charges listed include five counts of theft. Records show that he was released on bond at approximately 1 p.m.
Mayor Brundige’s daughter, Natalie Brundige, was also booked into the jail at 11:17 a.m., before later being released at 11:53 a.m. No charges appear on her booking information. Natalie reportedly performs janitorial services for the city.
Additionally, the City of Martin’s Director of Economic & Community Development, Brad Thompson, was booked into the jail as well. According to records, he was booked at 8:14 a.m. and later released at 8:55 a.m. His charges include two counts of theft and four counts of official misconduct.
Details are limited at this time, with government offices closed for the Veterans Day holiday. We aim to provide an update once additional information is confirmed.
