‘Rapsgiving’ music event in Jackson to help support RIFA

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local resident is doing his part to help those in need.

Larry B. Green has collaborated with Hub City Hemp and the 731 Rap showcase.

The “Rapsgiving” event will take place on November 14 at Catbird Studio, located at 2100 Pleasant Plains Extension, Suite G in Jackson.

To do your part in the food drive, you can attend the event with your nonperishable foods.

“We decided to create this food drive, it was kind of falling into a collaboration of the SNAP benefits stopping, and we wanted to take our time to give back with this show,” Green said.

“Expect high energy, expect high vibes from start to finish, we got plenty of talent from all over the area coming together as one,” said DJ Von Howard.

A portion of ticket sales from the showcase will be donated to RIFA.
