Nite Lite Theatre celebrates 45 years with first show of the season
TRENTON, Tenn. — One local theatre celebrates a milestone with its first show of the season Friday night.

Nite Light theatre of Gibson County is celebrating its 45th year of community theatre with a season of classics.
The cast and crew kicked off the season tonight with the holiday classic “White Christmas.”

The cast is made up of locals of all ages from Gibson, Carroll, Madison, Weakley and Crockett counties.

The season will continue with auditions for “The Music Man” in early December and performances in late March.
“It’s very ‘christmassy,’ I’ve never really done a Christmas play near Christmas. This is the second thing I’ve done here and it’s just joyful because it is Christmas Time and Irving Berlin’s music is just so wonderful, and everyone’s done such a really good job with it. It’s really a special cast,” said Annalia & Katie, cast members.
