Chief Deputy Tisdale surprised with retirement celebration
JACKSON, Tenn.—The community here in the Hub City come out to help one law enforcement official celebrate 30 years of service.
The Lighthouse Church held a surprise party for Chief Deputy Derrick Tisdale.
The celebration honors and give thanks to Tisdale for his impact on the community. And serving at the Jackson Police Department for over 30 years.
Many people came out to support and celebrate this joyous occasion.
“Oh absolutely honored and excited! They were gonna try to find a building downtown and I just randomly called and said look we’d love to offer our building and our team just pulled together and they were just excited. And I didn’t feel like she needed to do any work because it is a family thing,” said Bridget Lance, Pastors wife, Lighthouse Church.
