What’s New Wednesday: JT’s Sports Bar & Patio

JACKSON, Tenn. — JT’s Sports Bar and Patio opened in the Hub City in May.

It features a full bar and a wide variety of beer, including locally-crafted selections, and they’re also serving up some delicious options on the menu.

“We specialize in our smashburgers, we have lots of different kinds of smashburgers, we got some healthy options too, as far as salads, wraps, great appetizers,” said owner Jason Power.

As the co-owner of The Tap, Power tells us he dreamed of opening another venue in Jackson, and when opportunity knocked, he heard the call.

JT’s features a large partially-covered patio with outdoor TVs, a fire pit, and an intimate stage for live music.

Visitors can enjoy a game of pool, try their hand at cornhole or Jenga, or simply sit back and enjoy the big game.

“We’ve got all the college football games, all your NFL games, your Monday night, your Thursday night, Sunday night, plus all the games on Sunday, all your college games on Saturdays,” Power said. “Plus I’ve got eleven TVs inside, I’ve got Jackson’s only jumbotron, that’s got four TVs that hang just like you’d see in the middle of a stadium.”

Along with their normal operations, they also host special events like themed trivia and extreme Bingo.

And if you’re craving their food but have limited time, they also offer call-in orders and DoorDash delivery.

Power says JT’s is open for lunchtime and also offers extended hours for the late night crowd.

“I love being able to provide a place for people who just wanna come out, relax, have a good time at a locally-owned bar,” Power said.

JT’s Sports Bar and Patio is located at 595 Old Hickory Boulevard in Jackson. Power says they’re open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
