‘We have something for everyone’: 2025 Holiday Mart begins Friday morning

JACKSON, Tenn. — The University School of Jackson hosted a preview for its annual Holiday Mart that kicks off Friday morning.

This year’s Holiday Mart kicks off at 9am Friday morning at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson.

While this is a ticketed event, parking is free and there will be additional parking at First United Methodist Church. A shuttle service will be offered to those parked at FUMC.

Inside, vendors will be selling all kinds of goodies to spread holiday cheer. Food and drinks will also be available through USJ’s Bruin’s Bistro.

“We have something for everyone. When you think about vendors, we have brought people in from all over the country, and we have products for children, men, women, home decor, jewelry,” said Brittany Harris, Holiday Mart c0-chair.

The USJ bakeshop will also be set up at the Holiday Mart. While this may not be a great idea for Christmas yet, it can certainly sweeten the deal for your Thanksgiving plans.

“These are cakes, pies, cookies anything you may want to take to your family’s thanksgiving, this is a great place to swing by and present something really beautiful and tasty to your family,” said Harris.

The Holiday Mart serves as USJ’s largest fundraiser and is put together by the Parents’ Club every year.

If you don’t get tickets from the website, only general admission will be available at the door.

Friday night from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, the Holiday Mart will host “Sip n’ Shop.” Tickets are $40 each and will be an adults only shopping experience.

The Holiday Mart’s hours will be 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday. This year’s Holiday Mart is sponsored by Cadence Bank.
