Lowe’s partners with Habitat for Humanity of Jackson to strengthen home repair efforts in Madison, Haywood Counties

Lowe’s Partners with Habitat for Humanity of Jackson to Strengthen Home Repair Efforts in Madison and Haywood Counties
JACKSON, TN (November 20, 2025) – Habitat for Humanity of Jackson TN Area Inc. has received a $102,000 grant from Lowe’s to make homes safer and more accessible for seniors in Madison and Haywood Counties.
With funding from Lowe’s and the support of Lowe’s Red Vest associates, Habitat has launched a series of Aging-in-Place projects to help older adults remain safe, independent, and secure in their homes. Repairs include roof and flooring replacement, ramps, bathroom modifications, weatherization, and door and window upgrades. These improvements are already making a meaningful difference in the lives of local seniors.
Chandra McCorkle, Aging in Place Program Manager, said, “I am so grateful for Lowe’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity. This initiative is part of Lowe’s nationwide commitment to deliver 10 million square feet of community impact in 2025. Across the U.S., 20 local Habitat affiliates will complete 200 repair projects through this effort. Since 2003, Lowe’s and Habitat have partnered to help more than 18,000 people build or improve a place to call home.
