U.S. Chamber, Greater Jackson Chamber hosts roundtable with U.S. Representative David Kustoff

JACKSON, Tenn. — The U.S. Chamber and Greater Jackson Chamber held a tax roundtable with U.S. Representative David Kustoff.

The tax roundtable discussed pro-growth business tax provisions with President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

The bill was signed by President Trump on July 4th of this year. This bill is said to help citizens take home more money and Representative Kustoff says that workers in Madison County could benefit from this.

“If you work for somebody, who now gets that permanent deduction, you’re going to take home more money and you may take home more money because there are no tax on tips and no tax on overtime,” said Kustoff.

The bill is also set to create some new opportunities for workers.
