Dot Foods Dyersburg donates $36k worth of food to 5 area food pantries
PRESS RELEASE FROM DOT FOODS DYERSBURG:
Dot Foods Dyersburg Donates $36,000 worth of Food to 5 Area Food Pantries
The donation, part of Dot’s Neighbor to Neighbor program, included truckloads of food delivered by company employees to local pantries.
The Dot Foods distribution center in Dyersburg, Tennessee, recently donated $36,000 worth of food and other necessities from its current inventory to five local food pantries through the company’s Neighbor to Neighbor program.

The Neighbor-to-Neighbor recipient pantries in the Dyersburg area included:
- Dyersburg Christian Center, 439 West Court Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024
- Salvation Army of Dyer County, 318 West Market St, Dyersburg, TN 38024
- Fountain of Life Mobile Food Bank, 748 East Tigrett Street, Halls, TN 38040
- Bags of Hope Food Bank, 145 S Main Street, Ripley, TN 38063
- Reelfoot Rural Ministries, 6923 Minnick Elbridge Rd, Obion, TN 38240
Each food pantry selected items from Dot’s inventory list to meet its needs. Dot employees assisted pantry staff and volunteers with receiving and unloading the donations at each location.
While Dot’s charitable work supports a range of causes, fighting food insecurity remains central to the company’s mission. In addition to the annual Neighbor-to-Neighbor program, which launched in 2014, Dot donates to local food pantries throughout the year.
“A heartfelt thank-you to Dot Foods for your love, support, and generous donation. With more families seeking food assistance, your gift arrived just when it was needed most,” said Lisa Chesney, executive director at Salvation Army of Dyer County.
“Bags of Hope in Ripley thanks everyone at Dot Foods for the generous donation to our food pantry. Times have been tough for our clients with the uncertainty over SNAP benefits. Your gift will help fill the empty places in cupboards and also relieve some of the stress of wondering if they’ll have enough food over the holidays. Thank you for your gift and for letting us be part of your program,” said Cindy Brabec, a volunteer at Bags of Hope in Ripley.
