Jackson Elks Lodge’s month-long coat drive serves those in need
PRESS RELEASE FROM JACKSON ELKS LODGE #192:
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Elks Lodge #192 organized a month-long coat drive to provide coats for homeless and near-homeless children.

The ‘Coats for Kids’ program was led by members Kristi Wright and Joel Walker and took place throughout November and the project donated 30 heavy coats and 100 sweatshirts, as well as lightweight jackets, socks, gloves, hats, scarves, and $500 in cash.

The estimated total for the project is $4,500. The Coats were donated to the Jackson- Madison County School System for distribution to the kids in need.
The Elks are a community-oriented fraternal organization located at 28 Executive Drive in Jackson.
