FHU hosts 61st Benefit Dinner featuring Gen. Stanley McChrystal

HENDERSON, Tenn. — Freed-Hardeman University hosted its 61st Benefit Dinner this evening at Dryden Auditorium.

This year’s guest speaker was U.S. Army retired 4 Star General Stanley McChrystal.

Also featured at the event was live music from the Hardeman Boys.

The group was originally formed back in 1982, then the original singers reformed in 1983 under the name Henderson Street.

This benefit dinner is used to offset the cost of tuition to students at the university.
