Wreaths Across America Day to bring event to Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery
PRESS RELEASE:
Saturday, December 13, 2025, is Wreaths Across America Day. More than two million volunteers and supporters will gather to place veterans’ wreaths in more than 4600 participating locations in all 50 states, at sea, and abroad.

Wreaths Across America Day at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads will begin with a short ceremony in the chapel on Saturday at noon recognizing the veterans interred in the cemetery. Following the ceremony in the chapel, volunteers will place wreaths on the 780+ veterans’ graves.
The balsam fir wreaths, each with a large red velvet bow, were sponsored by individuals, organizations, and businesses.
This annual event is an opportunity for the public to recognize and honor our area veterans who served and sacrificed for our freedoms. The public is invited to attend and to assist in the place of wreaths. Dress for the weather.
In addition to the placement of wreaths on veterans graves annually, the nonprofit organization Wreaths Across America encourages everyone to REMEMBER the fallen, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH the next generation the value of freedom. The motto for 2025 is Keep Moving Forward.
