TBI agents investigating deaths of 2 individuals in Decaturville
DECATURVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is investigating the deaths of two individuals in Decaturville on December 11.
“At the request of 24th Judicial District Attorney General Neil Thompson, TBI agents are investigating the deaths of two individuals at a home in the 100 block of Wheat Store Road in Decaturville on Thursday, December 11th. The individuals have been identified as Ronda Graves (DOB 02/08/1976) and Chad Gentry (DOB 07/16/1975). At this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing,” said Kim Wheeler, TBI Public Information Officer.
According to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, they received the call around 3:54 p.m. regarding two individuals being found deceased on a residence. The sheriff’s office said the individuals have been taken to the Nashville Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies.
“Deputies secured the scene and notified the District Attorney’s Office. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) was requested and has assumed responsibility for the investigation. At this time, there is no threat to the public,” wrote the sheriff’s office on their Facebook.
The Sheriff’s Office said this is an ongoing investigation and they are not releasing any additional information at this time.
