Make-A-Wish invites community to call the Holiday Wish Line
MEMPHIS, Tenn.– Make-A-Wish Mid-South is inviting the community to call their Holiday Wish Line.
Callers to the line can listen to uplifting, recorded messages from children who have faced critical illnesses with courage and joy. Proceeds raised through the holiday season will allow more Wish kids to experience the impact of a wish.
“It’s really, I think, a gift to be able to take a beat, take a moment, and hear from Wish kids about a message of gratitude and hope and that’s really the purpose of the Wish Line,” said Amanda Wiig, with Make-A-Wish Mid-South.
You can call 480-914-9474 to hear from six Wish kids as part of the Make-A-Wish “Wishful Giving” campaign. The campaign runs through December 31.
