Extreme Cold Warning Thru Tuesday Afternoon
Weather Update: Monday, January 26 —
Good Morning West Tennessee. A frigid start to the week with temps in the single digits to start. We had some lingering clouds this morning, they saved us from reaching zero overnight, though the wind chill certainly was. Today we’ll be treated with plenty of sunshine, which will help aid in improving road conditions. The temperature will be the negating factor. An extreme cold warning will remain in place through Tuesday for all of West Tennessee through Noon Tuesday.

Through Mid week:
Another Alberta Clipper will be moving east into the Midwest by Tuesday afternoon. there will be a brief warm up to around freezing through Wed/Thursday. That will be the window of opportunity to clear ice and snow from the roads. the clipper will be moisture starved thankfully, it will bring a reinforcing shot of arctic air into the region for late week into the weekend. Due to the abundant dryness there is no additional accumulating precipitation expected with any of this. Just more cold.
