Save A Lot Shoppers donate 1K bags to support Reel Foot Ministries

DYERSBURG, Tenn. – With the help and generosity of its valued customers, the Save A Lot store in Dyersburg has donated more than 1,000 bags of much-needed, high-quality food to Reel Foot Ministries. Throughout the holiday season, Save A Lot customers in Dyersburg – and across the country – showed their support for their local communities by purchasing pre-assembled bags of food that were donated to local and regional charitable organizations.

The Dyersburg Save A Lot store located at 1480 US-51 saw among the highest number of donations across all stores nationwide for the second year in a row, with valued customers purchasing and donating 1,076 bags – more than $5,907 worth of food – to support families in need. Each bag is stocked with private label and brand name food items, including pasta, stuffing mix and other pantry staples from Save A Lot.  To further amplify the contributions made by the Dyersburg community, Save A Lot is donating an additional $1,000, gifting a grand total of $6,907 worth of food and financial contributions to Reel Foot Ministries.
