Winter On Pause, For The Moment

Weather Update: Monday, February 2 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. The groundhog saw it’s shadow. That means: 6 more weeks of Winter. It comes with a caveat; Starting this week we have bit of a pause on Winter as temps will trend warm especially by the upcoming weekend. It’s another cold start to the day with temps in the 20s, but not al that far from normal. The day will feature plenty s sunshine, along with temps increasing fairly steadily. we should be above freezing by 9:00 AM and into the low 40 by lunchtime. Atmospheric heights will continue expanding in response to the developing system in the Plains. This will aid in pushing temps to the mid perhaps upper 40s at the warmest point of the day. The good news, plenty of uninhibited snow/ice melting time. It won’t take care of all of it, but I expect significant improvements today.
