Jackson City Parks closed until further notice following winter storm

JACKSON, Tenn. — All Jackson City Parks will be closed until further notice, the City of Jackson Parks and Rec Department announced Monday.

The Parks and Rec Department says the closing is out of caution for park visitors following the recent winter storm.

The department is set to perform safety checks on recreational areas and playground equipment, and looks to reopen soon.

This also means all Community Center Programming is on pause.
