Greater Jackson Chamber hosts Annual Celebration & Awards ceremony
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Greater Jackson Chamber hosted an awards show to honor businesses and individuals.

The show recognizes the successes the businesses or individuals had in the past year. The Greater Jackson Chamber hosts an awards show every year to honor businesses and local individuals.

The awards are split into many different categories.
The categories include:
- Business of the Year with an Employee count of 1 to 49
- Business of the Year with an Employee count over 50
- Industry of the Year
- Nonprofit of the Year
- Shirley Jones Ambassador of the Year
- Curtis F. Mansfield Volunteer of the Year
- Jonas Kisber Community Impact Award
The winner of the Nonprofit of the Year was Mental Health and Developmental Services.

Chief Executive Officer for Madison Haywood Developmental Services Nora Buckley says they are very ecstatic to receive this award.
“We’re very excited about this. In our 54 years, I believe this has been the first time we have received this award in probably 30 years of being a part of the chamber, so we are very excited,” said Buckley.
The winner of Business of the Year with an Employee count of 1 to 49 was Golden Years Adult Day Care in Jackson and the winner of Business of the Year with over 50 Employees was Jackson State Community College.
The 2025 Industry of the Year award went to Toyota Boshoku Tennessee.
The recipient for the 2025 Shirley Jones Ambassador of the Year award was Whitney Dickson, the Curtis F. Mansfield Volunteer of the Year award went to Johnathon Chung, and the Jonas Kisber Community Impact Award went to the late Ted Austin.

President and CEO of the Greater Jackson Chamber Kyle Spurgeon encourages the community to support the businesses and individuals who have won, but also all of the businesses in West Tennessee.
“Support these businesses that have won but support every business in Jackson-Madison county and West Tennessee,” said Spurgeon.
The chamber had several successes in 2025, including being a finalist for chamber of the year, having approximately $256 million in capital investments, and adding 417 direct jobs. The Greater Jackson Chamber also has several plans for 2026 to continue their success.
The chamber introduced the big tip project in conjunction with Visit Jackson to encourage residents to tip service workers more than what is recommended in 2026.
