Franklin’s Little Bar continues tradition with Mardi Gras Cook-off
JACKSON, Tenn.—Nestled in downtown Jackson, Franklin’s Little Bar hosted their third annual Mardi Gras themed cook off.
People were able to stop by to try some food, have a beer, and enjoy their afternoon.
The owner of the establishment told us about Saturday’s event and the inspiration behind his bar.
“So were having Mardi Gras at Franklin’s Little Bar and our bar is very inspired by New Orleans’ bars. So we take Mardi Gras to heart, we’re very much a family here. So it’s just something we enjoy, everybody brings a gumbo, we have a contest and it’s just good fun,” said Victor Garcia, owner at Franklin’s Little Bar.
