Elks Lodge #192 celebrates Super Bowl Sunday

JACKSON, Tenn.—NFL football’s biggest night of the year is finally here, and one local organization hosted a Super Bowl LX celebration.

Elks Lodge #192 in Jackson celebrated Super Bowl Sunday with good food, fun activities and camaraderie with friends.

The party started just before 4 pm with two great areas to have fun. Near the bar guests could enjoy the Super Bowl watch party, or in the main hall watch contestants battle it out with a chili and cornbread cook-off.

Winners taking home top prizes for the winning recipes were Kelli Carroll for chili and Cindy Lamberth for cornbread.

The evening also included games and a cornhole tournament.

The Elks’ next big event is on February 14 when there will be an 80’s Valentine Prom Night with special musical guest L’80s Nite Band.
