Jackson Elks Lodge hosting 80s-themed prom night Saturday

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you’re looking for some fun this Saturday night, the Elks Lodge in Jackson has just the thing for you.

The lodge is throwing a radically romantic 80s themed prom night here in the Hub City.

The organization has a booked a tribute band to play 80s hits until midnight and party goers are encouraged to dress up as the decade or as one of their favorite icons.

Krisen Carr, who’s helping to plan the event, tells us what people have to look forward to.

“So we’re going to have the photo booth, we’re going to have the decor, you know it’s just going to be a fun night, I mean the idea is basically dancing but you know just hanging out, just relaxing, just thinking the aqua net, the big hair,” said Carr.

The event is open to the public and presale tickets are available online for $40.
