POLL: Do you think the City of Jackson should invest funds into more snow and ice removal equipment for roads?
After winter weather created hazardous road conditions, some questioned if the City of Jackson has enough equipment to manage snow and ice for a city of its size. In a message shared to social media in 2024, Mayor Scott Conger stated in part: “It doesn’t make financial sense to purchase extra equipment that will not be used 359 days of the year.” Now, we want to hear from you.
