Non-profit general appropriation grant application now open

JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson officially opens the city’s non-profit General Appropriation Grant application for 2026.

The city has historically invested in and partnered with local non-profit organizations that provide services and programs to the residents of Jackson.  This general appropriation grant application is for non-profits seeking funding through the city’s annual budget process for the upcoming fiscal year.

“The non-profits now just have to fill out an application. It’s very straight forward…It’s on our website and along with that, turn in some supporting documents like their tax forms and their budgets for the year, just so we can make sure we’re seeing all the information,” said Claire Pruett, the director for Community Development for the City of Jackson.
