Wilk’s Dugout holds annual ‘Rip Night’ for sports card collectors
JACKSON, Tenn.–One local sports merchandise business opened their store to the world of sports card collecting and trading.
Wilk’s Dugout has been a part of the West Tennessee community for nearly 40 years.
Early Saturday evening, they had their annual ‘Rip Night’, a family-friendly event where card collectors came together and ripped open packs of sports cards.
The night featured games, prizes, and giveaways. Co-owner Tiffany Wilkinson tells us a bit about the card collecting business.
“They haven’t made it easy. A lot of people want to know, like, what their card is worth. They get a lot of calls saying, ‘tell me what this card is worth!’ The best piece of advice is to go on ebay, look under ‘sold’, and be sure you’re looking at your exact card that you have in your hand,” said
Wilkinson.
