Workshop provides teachers with new classroom skills
JACKSON, Tenn.,—One local event offers teachers the opportunity to refresh some of their classroom skills.
Replenishing the Teacher’s Toolbox workshop took place Saturday in Jackson.
The program was presented from 9 until 1 this afternoon at the Jackson Careers and Technology School.
Experts were on hand offering detailed instructions and tips to enrich teachers’ day-to-day classroom life.
The workshop provided teachers with the opportunity to brush up on classroom management strategies or learn new strategies such as tools that utilize artificial intelligence (Ai). There were also instructions for using CANVA.
And the event wasn’t just for learning technical skills but also sharing ways to ease stress and support teachers’ mental wellness. Teachers could also use the course to log 4 hours of their Professional Development points.
