Leadership Jackson team helps give local school lobby a makeover
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local elementary school’s lobby gets a facelift courtesy of Leadership Jackson.

The Leadership Jackson Team Dragons Class of 2025 hosted the dedication of the new and improved lobby Tuesday afternoon with the help of some of the students.
Alexander Elementary is one of the oldest schools in the county and according to Leadership Jackson, was often overlooked due to its age and location.
The old fountain has been removed and replaced with comfy furniture for the kids to enjoy.

“We did this lobby as a Leadership Jackson project and we renovated and redecorated so that the kids would have a cozy space outside of their classroom to decompress and have some instructional time,” said Stacey Reeves, clinical manager with LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Jackson.
The project was aided by several generous donors.
