JPD launches internal investigation after juvenile arrest video circulates on social media
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT:
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Police Department (JPD) has been made aware of several videos circulating on social media regarding the arrest of a 16-year-old juvenile during the evening hours of March 6, 2026.
JPD has initiated a formal internal investigation to review the conduct of the officers involved and ensure that Department polices were followed.
Representatives from the Department have been in communication with the juvenile’s family to discuss the incident and address their concerns.
