Humboldt Vikings Send Off to State tournament
The Humboldt Vikings basketball team hit the road
for Murfreesboro. They were sent off by the school,family,friends,
faculty and the entire community. The Vikings punched their ticket to the
state tournament after a win over Booker T Washington in the class A sectional
winning with a final of 70 to 60. Before they left
senior forward Kavein Taylor and assoicate head coach Marcus
Butler spoke about what sets them apart and
what they need to focus on. Take a listen.
The Vikings will tip-off the quarterfinal round
tomorrow against Unaka at 5:30 pm from the Murphy center and you can watch
that live on the NFHS network.
