Airport returns to normal operations after ‘suspicious item’ checked
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Airport Police have cleared the scene after traffic was blocked due to an investigation of a suspicious item.
Jim McGehee Parkway was blocked for nearly two hours Thursday morning and afternoon.
Airport Police say a suspicious vehicle was found during a routine sweep of the property.
After investigation, the airport roads have been reopened and all activity is back to normal.
