Le Bonheur League of Jackson hosts its 9th annual GenerosiTea
HUMBOLDT, Tenn.—A cup of tea to help save lives, one local group gathers for a unique fundraiser in Humboldt.
The Le Bonheur League of Jackson hosted its GenerosiTea Party Sunday afternoon.
The fundraiser took place beginning at 2pm this afternoon at the Venue of Twin Oaks in Humboldt.
The special event gives guests the opportunity to dress in their finest attire an enjoy a one-of-a-kind tea party. And the best part, it raises money for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
The tea party included several activities including crafts, a silent auction, vendors to shop, and a fashion show. There was also an activity station set up for the kids as well as plenty of photo opportunities for the guests.
The Le Bonheur League of Jackson hosts the GenerosiTea each year to raise money for the children’s hospital, which means a great deal to league members.
“Well, Le Bonheur is everything to me, I had open heart surgery when I was 3days-old, and I have been involved in all things Le Bonheur ever since. The GenerosiTea is a wonderful way for people to come and join together in an awesome tea party! And to just really enjoy this time while giving back to a hospital that saves so many lives,” said Claire Russell, Co-planner, GenerosiTea Party.
This is the 9th year for group to host the fundraising event.
