‘Superman’ Actress Valerie Perrine dies at 82
(Gray News) – “Superman” actress Valerie Perrine died Monday. She was 82.
Her death was confirmed by a friend in a Facebook post that said, “It is with deep sadness that I share the heartbreaking news that Valerie has passed away.”
“She was a true inspiration who lived life to the fullest—and what a magnificent life it was,” the Facebook post said.
Perrine was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Bob Fosse’s “Lenny.” She was also known for her role as Lex Luthor’s girlfriend in 1978’s “Superman.”
