Work begins for first Buc-ee’s location in West Tennessee
GALLAWAY, Tenn. (WMC) – Work is finally underway for a future Buc-ee’s location in Fayette County.
Crews are clearing land for what will become the first Buc-ee’s in West Tennessee. It will be built in Gallaway, located about a 40-minute drive from Memphis.
It was originally slated to open in 2026, but its expected completion has been pushed back to May 2027.
The location planned for West Memphis, Arkansas, is expected to open in the summer of 2028.
