Robert John “Bob” Ostrander

Mr. Robert John “Bob” Ostrander, 85, of Union City passed away 3:48 a.m. Saturday, at Union City Health and Rehabilitation.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Bob was born February 2, 1941, in Addison, Michigan, son of the late Alfred Jay and Geraldine (Clement) Ostrander.  He married Roberta (Halliwill) Ostrander in 1959. She survives. He worked for the former Goodyear and Tire Rubber Company for 40 years.

He is also survived by one son, Mike Ostrander of Fulton, Kentucky; one daughter, Rhonda Watkins (Larry) of Jackson, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Jason Ostrander, Josh Ostrander, Trevor VanHorn, Casey Davis, Natasha Clayton, Amber Watkins, Zean Watkins, Johnathan Ostrander and Joshua Ostrander; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Alan Ostrander; one grandson, Jared; and one brother, William “Bill” Ostrander.
