Lexington Utilities issues Boil Water Notice

LEXINGTON, Tenn. – Lexington Utilities has issued a Boil Water Notice for their customers residing in the eastern portion of their system.

The notice was issued Thursday morning, April 2.

“A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for Lexington Utilities customers located in the eastern portion of our system in Lexington City Limits, 400-700 Block of East Church Street(from Lee Street to Airways Drive), Lee Street, East Gate Drive, Chase Drive, Grove Street, Union Street, and Roselawn Drive. The precautionary boil water notice is for customers who experienced low to no water pressure due to water main repairs. Please boil water intended for human consumption until notified. Due to the water main repair, your water may have air in the lines and be dingy.”
