Jackson Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta presents Community Health Fair

JACKSON, Tenn.–A community event happened Saturday for those looking to check in on their health.

The Jackson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta is giving back to the community with a health fair this weekend, offering free resources and screenings to help people stay on top of their health.

“Hoping to help engage the community, partner with the community and vendors. We have over 28 vendors here with us today. Just come out and be a part. Everything is free. It is free to come. We’re here till one o’clock, and we just want to be able to be a big present back in the Jackson community,” said Evelyn Harris, Chair of Physical and Mental Health Committee – First Vice President at Jackson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta.

She also says, this is their first time coming together for the community since Covid.
