“Assistant District Attorneys Nina Seiler and Caroline Gordon and our trial team did an outstanding job prosecuting this horrific case. We are so thankful to the Haywood County Jury for their public service. The Victim in this case showed immense courage with her testimony at trial, and we commend her for having the strength to hold her father accountable and breaking this cycle of sexual abuse. Children should be protected by their parents and not live in fear of being continuously abused. Our Office is focused on removing sexual predators like this defendant from Crockett, Gibson, and Haywood Counties.”
