Annual Teapot Festival officially opens in Trenton
TRENTON, Tenn.–A local festival hosts their opening ceremony Sunday afternoon.
The city of Trenton’s annual Teapot Festival committee invited the community to Frank Gibson Pedestrian Park for some announcements ahead of the festivities.
The committee announced not only the parade’s Grand Marshal but the Teapot royalty as well during the ceremony.
Some of the upcoming festivities this week include the Teapot Trot and Pet Parade at 6 p.m. Monday, the Teapot Flower Show, which will be on Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m.,
Wednesday is the Community Churches Concert at 6 p.m., with Pope’s Carnival opening that day as well.
On Saturday, May 2, the Teapot Parade will be held at 10 a.m. beginning at Trenton Elementary School.
