Jackson Symphony performs concert under the stars

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Symphony hosts a West Tennessee tradition under the stars.

The starlight concert was held outside of First Presbyterian Church.

The symphony orchestra performed a wide array of pieces including classical favorites, film music and pops.

Dozens came out to enjoy the free outdoor concert, some even packing picnic baskets.

Organizers say the concert was a way to give back to the Jackson community.
