Crash slows traffic near local elementary school

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are redirecting traffic after an afternoon wreck near a local elementary school.

The Jackson Police Department says the crash took place just before 3 p.m. Monday on North Highland Avenue near Alexander Elementary School.

Police say at least three vehicles were involved. There is no word on injuries at this time.
