Feds Investigating Small Plane Crash
Federal authorities are investigating a small plane crash in northern Kentucky that resulted in two people being injured en route to Cincinnati. Fort Thomas Fire Chief Mark Bailey says that the Cessna C-182 with two people on board crash into trees at about 9:50 p.m. CDT Saturday while approaching Lunken Airport just across the Ohio River from the city. The injured were taken to University Hospital. Their names were not released. No one was killed. Cincinnati Airport Manager Fred Anderson says the pilot was based at Lunken Airport and had earlier taken off from there. Fred Anderson, airport manager for Cincinnati , which owns Lunken Airport, said the pilot had earlier taken off from there. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
