Lexington City Schools closed remainder of week due to illnesses

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Lexington City Schools will be closed the rest of this week due to high numbers of illnesses.

Director of Schools Cindy Olive says the school will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, February 6-8.

Olive says the school system is currently at 17 percent absenteeism.
