Jackson nonprofit receives $15K CVS Health Community Grant
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency gets a grant to increase access to quality health care.
JACOA received the $15,000 CVS Health Community Grant Monday.
These grants support nonprofit organizations that are providing much-needed access to health care for at-risk and under-served populations.
The money will help JACOA incorporate a curriculum educating teens from across the state on the dangers of tobacco use during its annual Tennessee Teen Institute.
The five-day youth camp will provide education and training in youth development and leadership.
