DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson woman charged with using a taser while robbing an elderly woman is still being held after a court appearance Friday morning where additional charges were filed against her for robbing a woman in the parking lot of a north Jackson business. Police say Jennifer Morris is facing charges of aggravated robbery and is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond. She was arrested near a gas station on Lexington Avenue in downtown Thursday. Officers say Morris got away with a check from the 76-year-old victim after attacking her inside her home on Tuesday. Police say Morris took the purse of a victim on Dec. 12 at the Batteries Plus parking lot by also using a stun gun. Morris returns to court on Jan. 16.
